History

It began as a promise more than a decade ago...

A self-described man of the world, Albert Huerta was a fabulously successful attorney--a charismatic man blessed with wealth and the respect of his peers.

On a trip to Houston to purchase another luxury vehicle to add to his growing collection, Huerta received news that brought his vehicle to a stand-still and would change his life and the lives of countless others, forever.

His son Joseph had sustained a devastating head injury in a skiing accident and hung perilously on the threshold between life and death. If he survived, doctors gently explained, his son, a promising young attorney in his own right, would be severely handicapped. At the height of his son's life, Albert Huerta was told his son would never again drive a vehicle, practice law, or live independently.

In a small chapel located on the hospital grounds Mr. Huerta fell to his knees and offered the Lord the sum of his wealth and worldly possessions.

His grief-stricken pleas went unanswered.

It was when he humbled himself before God and begged for the life of his son that Huerta suddenly found peace in a covenant formed on that day and honored ever since.

Ten years forward and property owned by Huerta that once welcomed some of the country's most popular musicians has been transformed into a healing ministry where all religions are welcomed. Thousands have walked through its doors and many have been blessed with miracles and healings.

Joseph did recover and contrary to his physician's diagnosis, he supports himself as a practicing attorney.

In his spare time, Joseph thoroughly enjoys driving his sports car.
